What the ride is actually like
Cyprus is small. The road south from Larnaca runs parallel to the sea for most of the trip; the coach sits high enough that you'll get a proper view of the Mediterranean from kilometre five onward. Here's the honest version, written by people who do this run weekly.
- 01
Sit on the right.
The motorway hugs the coast from Pervolia onward, right-hand seats get the sea, the salt flats, and the Akrotiri bay coming into Limassol.
- 02
Wi-Fi is a maybe.
Intercity advertises it on most newer coaches and it usually works between cities, but expect a brief blackout through the Kalavasos tunnel and the headlands.
- 03
Luggage is free.
A standard suitcase goes in the hold for nothing extra; carry-on rides at your feet or overhead. The driver opens the hold for every stop, not just terminals.
- 04
It actually runs on time.
The 32 is the most punctual line on the island. We've measured ±4 minutes on weekdays. The one to watch is the 13:15, it can pick up holiday traffic through Mazotos.
