Aloya started as a spreadsheet. One commuter, seven operator apps, one late bus. We built the calm bilingual app the island did not yet have.

Transit deserves editorial care.
Most transit apps read like a database in a raincoat. They tell you a route exists. They do not tell you what the ride feels like, whether the driver takes cash, or where to stand at 06:15 in Larnaca when the coastal wind is up. We write those things down.
Every route page on this site was walked, ridden, and photographed by a person on our team. Every fare was confirmed with the operator that collects it. When a schedule changes, we change the page — usually within a week, sometimes within an hour.

Public beta in two cities.
Aloya launches in Nicosia and Larnaca. One thousand riders join within a month.

All seven Cyprus operators integrate. Bilingual parity ships. Live arrivals arrive.
2026
Native apps and the Motion card.
iOS and Android launch. The Motion card enters Apple Wallet. The web stays free for everyone.
